Precision Placement of Ballast

The entire width of track is accurately ballasted. Shoulder chutes are provided to ballast past tie ends.

The entire track cross section is accurately ballasted with four bottom gates and shoulder chutes. Track can be flooded in new construction projects or a ballast skin applied prior to tamping operations. The depths and quantities of ballast are accurately controlled.
